RecommendedVitalSmarts clarified for me that I could be present in the moment "standing at the corner of 1st and Main Street". I could then choose to turn to the left and go onto the gym. My choices, rather than automatic responses also have to be involved as I form healthy habits.
I love the messages I get via e-mail; there is always something I can use!
Their programs like The Influencer and Crucial Conversations have helped me a lot in understanding people and changing the way I look at problems or situations that seem impossible to resolve. A truly good read; attending their seminars (of the same title) would be a very wise investment.
