The guy nurse was very very bad when I was did the blood donation before that he was hurt my body very painful please fire him right away please nobody likes his blood donation service fire him please
Very friendly and willing to work around your schedule. Convenient parking lot across the street from their location. My go-to place when I want to donate.
I regularly donate blood here and the staff are nice and efficient. There's plenty of parking. Donating takes about an hour, from check-in, answering questionare, preliminary iron/blood pressure/pulse checks, blood draw (7-10 min), mandatory rest/snack period (15 min). Each whole blood donation is split into three components: red blood, plasma, and platelets, which potentially saves three lives. Do it if you can!
I have been donating at Vitalant for 10 years now. Stonestown has always been my favorite donation center. Olivia, Glenda and Abbey are my favorites to draw blood. Olivia is awesome. I don’t feel a thing when she draws the blood! The small conversations with her make me feel welcomed and appreciated. She loves her job and I absolutely love her personality. I’ve been donating blood with Vitalant for 22 years and used to go to their downtown location. Two of five of my visits to this new center have been a disaster. In my first visit an amateur nurse completely missed my good vein and insisted on moving the needle around in my arm to try to get more blood. A second “more senior” nurse tried to draw blood from my other arm, also missed, and then tore my skin trying to get more blood.
