They have been harassing me for months to donate blood and how they have urgent need and I finally made a time to drive to the Naperville location and I was treated like garbage. People need to learn how to talk to people and instead of attitude and being rude with the people who are giving you their blood for free so you can sell it afterwards you should be more respectful! I would not recommend going to this location to anyone!!

Vitalant pestered me for months asking for me to donate, and when I finally came in I had a HORRIBLE experience. The phlebotomist was rushing, being careless and wound up violently yanking the needle out of my arm mid-draw. Blood spurted all over and I went into shock, nausea, cold clammy skin, fainting, the works. While I understand accidents happen, this was COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE and now I'm stuck with a good deal of physical and mental trauma. I've been going here to donate blood every 8 weeks for a couple of decades. The staff are friendly and efficient. I've never had a bad experience in all the time I've been donating with them. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to donate.
I donated blood here last week and while I don't like needles and never enjoy it, I've never had such a bad experience. They had 3 different people dig around in my arm to find a vein. It made me nauseous and I should have taken that as a clue to leave. I eventually asked them to remove the needle and they waited minutes to do so while I battled to keep from losing my breakfast and passing out. My arm hurt for days.
