I had a very disappointing experience with Vitalant. I came to donate blood, but they refused to take my donation because I don’t speak English or Spanish. I even offered to use Google Translate to communicate, but they still canceled my appointment. I felt this was unfair and discriminatory. I am absolutely appalled by the blatant discrimination and lack of professionalism at this Naperville Vitalant location. I brought a family member to donate life-saving blood, but we were turned away simply because he speaks Uzbek. Despite my presence as a personal translator, the staff was incredibly dismissive and rude, stating they only deal with English or Spanish speakers. They have been harassing me for months to donate blood and how they have urgent need and I finally made a time to drive to the Naperville location and I was treated like garbage. People need to learn how to talk to people and instead of attitude and being rude with the people who are giving you their blood for free so you can sell it afterwards you should be more respectful! I would not recommend going to this location to anyone!!
