I had the most wonderful experience today in regards to getting a correction made to my birth certificate. I'd picked it up at the county and it was 11pm when I noticed my place of birth was incorrect. JC answered my phone call the next morning. She recommended for those needing a certified birth certificate for a passport, or any reason, they should request a 'passport ready' one. They have their office closed due to covid then charges you a convenience fee for doing it online... they wont let me do it in person so why am I being charged more for them making me do it this way?

I needed to get a document and I called to ask if they could help me get it. The lady said that I could go to the social security administration in south Jordan. I asked her if I needed to set up and appointment where she told me that I did not and I could just walk in. I went and they said I needed an appointment and that that’s the way they have been doing it for about a year. Don’t put people who don’t know how to do their job on the phones, all you’re doing is misinforming people and wasting their time.
