Too many kids screaming and running amok – We stopped by between 5-6 on a Wednesday night for a light dinner, wine, and conversation. We could barely hear over the screaming kid in the adjacent booth and two other kids running and screaming and chasing each other back and forth from one end of the floor to the other. A Real Gem in the West Hills! – Been going to this cozy gem in the West Hills for over five years and just love it! This little cafe is tucked away on Vista, up the hill from Washington Park. They have quite a few booths and a warm eclectic feel. The food is excellent! Their pizzas are always fresh with top-notch ingredients. My wife loves their Thai Chicken Salad, says it's the best in town! I like the pastas and the Sicilian Pizza. The service is pretty good, they are always busy so it can be a bit slow. Pizza is A gooda Pizza is a value and in the top five. – I have been going to vista for a few years and the place get's packed on weekends and the service slows with only two servers. It's overall good with a charm that makes it a favorite on a nice or rainy day. My wife loves the Asian salad
A great hidden treasure – This place is really cool. It's hidden away up in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the west hills, and each time I go there I feel like it's a totally unique experience. The food isn't fantastic, but it is very good, and for the prices you pay the food is more than worth it. The people who work there are great as well. Vista Spring Cafe My husband and I discovered The Vista Springs Cafe as we drove down the SW hills toward downtown. We immediately felt welcome. We ordered the pizza which was scrumptious. We have returned often with our Cairn Terrier and have enjoyed eating outside and visiting with other diners and passers by.
Location the great but food is bad – My husband and I have here several times because it is so convenient from our house but the food is not that great. The pizza has a terrible crust and is underwhelming. The best thing we've tried is the Club sandwich.
TO-GO NO NO – We were going to order out tonight and I saw reviews for this restaurant I could not believe what I saw. Our family loves this place, my wife and I laugh because we know when it is kids choice they will pick Vista. Pizza is always good, pancetta is not what it used to be (bummer) great wine selection and they also have adult drinks now (yeah) and the pasta's are wonderful we tried the butternut squash ravioli it was sooo good.........but our kids love the service. Best pizza and service ever. – My girlfriend and I ate at Vista Springs recently. We had pizza and salads. Boy was the pizza ever good. It was the best. The server was just super. I don't remember her name but she has dark hair and brown eyes. Seh was extra helpful. I was not sure what kind of pizza I wanted, and she was very patient with me and really went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. I love this place, and plan to go back often.
Take food to go to avoid the terrible service. – Vista Springs Cafe was place my mother has raved about in the past, I was excited to meet her there last night and have dinner with her. Beginning from the moment she "sat us" (That being pointing to our booth and walking off in another direction) our server proved she has no regard for us whatsoever.
