I have been a patient at Vista East 5 times in the last year and a half. I have had excellent care after each surgery and the nurses and other staff really go out of their way to help you get well. The PT department really does a great job of keeping things upbeat and the patient moving! Thanks!

spent most of Saturday afternoon at Vista trying to get a chest xray everyone was very unqualified to help me, check in was closed, I was sent to ER, they had computer problems, wanted me to go through ER, I explained I was there for only an xray I was told computer could not accmodate me to come back Monday at which time I asked for a manager Manager made a call to my doctor, and got xray accomplished this was only after being there all afternoon trying to send me home, was very unprofessional being a hospital and having a ... read more

Would you recommend this provider to others? Absolutely Not Does this provider use current and safe equipment? Not at all; the equipment is dangerous! Did this provider seem current about the latest advancements in their field? Not really Do you think that the provider's staff are well trained? Did a staff member acknowledge or greet you when you entered? Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in Is this provider easy to reach in an emergency? Absolutely! I can always count on them Is this business handicap-accessible? Absolutely, even the bathrooms are handicap-accessible Has this provider ever cancelled your appointment on you last minute? No, they didn't cancel on me last minute Did this provider rush your appointment? No

Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call? All the time! I think I got a gray hair while I was waiting Was this provider's office clean? No, I didn't feel comfortable at all Did this provider seem well-trained and experienced? No, they weren't very knowledgeable Was this provider argumentative or easily angered? Yes, I was scared to say anything Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? No, I felt confused and uneasy when I left

They didn't display their qualifications. It made me nervous. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time. They never take that extra step to make me feel special. I haven't ever felt that they care enough to get to know me and that I'm almost an irritation. The equipment at this hospital was so old I was scared something was going to break. I didn't feel safe in their care.

We have had consistent problems with medication orders not being entered in computer correctly and not being adhered to even after correction. They print a list of meds in the am and do not bother to check if the orders are changed during the day. When the patient questions the medication being handed to them, the nurse insists the computer is right instead of verifying. Once the issue escalates to supervisor involvement, the Dr is finally called and the medication is verified. Guess what - the patient was correct!
