My mom has been at Vista Del Mar for a couple of weeks now. I feel like I just sent her off to college and can't reach her now like I use to, because she is so busy with all the activities. She thought the dining room was so gorgeous and fancy that she was going to have to pay for her meal! They placed her with the best roommate and I haven't seen her this happy in years. Thank you Vista Del Mar for making this an easy transition and for all your caing staff.
My soon to be 95 year old father, who is 100% independent, has called Vista Del Mar home, for 2 years. The staff is wonderful and the food is very good. The events, whether it be the daily events or the wonderful family events, a good time is always had by all. I highly recommend Vista Del Mar as Home, for your loved one too❤️
My mom is new here, and she seems comfortable already. She lives with dementia, but I feel confident that she will thrive here...the staff have been wonderful so far.
This place is home to my dad! He loves the caregivers, activities, food and the beautiful courtyard. They have weekly doctor visits, off site outings, a movie room and a beauty salon on site. My dad just had his first ever pedicure and loved it. Great homey atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Shout out to Reggie Jones, Vista del Mar's Activities Director. He keeps the seniors going!!! Reggie plans XLNT activities for the seniors at VdM. Not just BINGO, oh no, trips to The Getty Museum of Art, Casinos, Farmers' Market, picnics at the park, etc. This keeps the residents, including my own mother, active, alert and looking forward to each new day! Bravo Reggie!

Recently visited this facility, although my family did not decide to place my grandmother here, the building was clean and up-to-date and the staff was kind and helpful. Worth looking into if you have a loved one in need of assisted living.
