horrible. last year after the fire I had been very ill. 6 hrs out of the hospital and sepsis one of the nurses called me 9 times and maxed out my vm. She decided it would be a bright idea to call my Mother 2500 miles away and worry her. Wow. Then they sent a rocket scientist out to the home I was staying at with my friend who had hip surgery three weeks prior. What started on Good Friday 2018 to do the right thing became my honor & privilege to assist & witness my brother in his final days at Serenity House. I Am sad & very tired but so grateful to all who gave him comfort & appreciated his quirks. There are too many special caring people to mention at what I lovely called Serenity Ranch....Bill Lewis transitioned from the Ranch on 10-8-18. Many thank you’s & blessings to all. Memories eternal for my brother.

Volunteering for hospice is the ultimate in helping out our fellow human beings.
My son Ben was at Serenity house and the nurses, staff, Lilian and Dr Kearney were the best. They loved my son and I couldn't have asked for a better place or staff to take care of him the last days of his life. I was able to spend the nights with him and be by his side and they also made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I am glad to have built a relationship with the staff and stop by to visit them from time to time.Bereavement counseling was offered to me and when I was ready I spent several months with Marsha who... read more
These folks deserve huge recognition for the Kind, Caring, Useful, Practical, Gentle, service they provide with a whole Team of wonderful care-people. The mom just became a Hospice Home Care client a week ago, and the kindness, help and guidance just keep coming. It's a beautiful program and I am so grateful for everyone I have met and each service offered. How lucky we are to have their gentle guidance at this important time of life for the mom and family. Definitely need more stars to rate them.......Thank you!
