My experience with Visiting Angels was exceptional. VA caregivers are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate. VA office staff are always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide encouragement when caregiving and illness become too heavy to manage on your own. My mom suffered with emphysema for many years. With the help of Visiting Angels' CNAs (especially Ada), my mom was able to remain in my childhood home and maintain her independence for quite some time. Our family had an amazing experience with Visiting Angels. We needed 24-hour home care for 9 days and our dad received the most compassionate, kind, and attentive care from Julian. She established a great rapport with him and was able to easily appease his anxiety and frustrations. She kept us well informed while we were away. Our dad is never an easy patient and we were so worried to leave him in someone else's care. Visiting Angels has been wonderful to work with. They are flexible and communicative, and their caretakers have been kind, patient, and helpful with my mom, who has Alzheimer's. She now has one caretaker who comes regularly, and my mom, who was very resistant to help, looks forward to her visits and welcomes her assistance.
