I met with Visiting Angels 8 or 9 months ago at their office in Scotts Valley. My inquiry was met with very competent professionalism and a large pinch of compassion. They made a home visit looking for safety issues and had several excellent suggestions that I have since completed and have eased my peace of mind. I was looking for a very specific type of caregiver. They took great care to find exactly the person that fit my husband's needs. (He has Alzheimer's Disease.) Visiting Angels has been so thoughtful and caring for my dad. It's been several years since Mom passed and they have been so kind. I often don't see them in action, I mostly know they are there. However, on several occasions, I have seen how they attend to my dad's safety and needs. They are proactive to be sure he feels secure, but they also respect his independence and his intellect. We have used the services of Visiting Angels for almost two years. They have helped me (I am partly disabled), my wife (who has Alzheimer's Disease), and our grown children. They have made it possible for my wife to be cared for at home, rather than in an institutional setting, and they have given us much peace of mind. I have found the Visiting Angels to be caring and compassionate, as well as efficient. I recommend them without reservation.
