Having an elderly parent, especially one in their late 90's, can be very challenging. Visiting Angels allowed me to to be able to rest assured that my Mom was eating, taking her meds and being kept safe when I could not be with her. Thank you for all your understanding and professionalism.
The Glen Burnie branch is terrible. They actually sent an office worker one day because they had no one else. No call nothing! Just sent this poor woman who had no training and barely spoke English to deal with a women who needed toileting etc. They never returned calls and their customer service sucked. If you love your family member just don’t use them. There are better places.
I was very thankful for the help I/we received from Visiting Angels during the final several weeks of my husband’s life. Debra Ellis became an indispensable member of our care team, & I am forever grateful for her calm, wise, & supportive help. Visiting Angels was invaluable with assisting me to care for my father. He insisted on staying in his house until the end. I couldn't do everything all day long by myself. Visiting Angels was great at engaging him in conversation, feeding, bathing, and moving him, and cleaning some of the house. They also kept an eye out for any signs of medical and emotional issues, and kept me very well informed. I highly recommend them for their outstanding service and reasonable pricing.
