The Glen Burnie branch is terrible. They actually sent an office worker one day because they had no one else. No call nothing! Just sent this poor woman who had no training and barely spoke English to deal with a women who needed toileting etc. They never returned calls and their customer service sucked. If you love your family member just don’t use them. There are better places.
I was very thankful for the help I/we received from Visiting Angels during the final several weeks of my husband’s life. Debra Ellis became an indispensable member of our care team, & I am forever grateful for her calm, wise, & supportive help. Visiting Angels was invaluable with assisting me to care for my father. He insisted on staying in his house until the end. I couldn't do everything all day long by myself. Visiting Angels was great at engaging him in conversation, feeding, bathing, and moving him, and cleaning some of the house. They also kept an eye out for any signs of medical and emotional issues, and kept me very well informed. I highly recommend them for their outstanding service and reasonable pricing.
A Social worker recommended Visiting Angels to help my sisters and I care for our mom. We were experiencing caregiver burnout and we needed help. Visiting Angels is the answer to our prayers! Everyone is wonderful- from the scheduler to the caregivers. Scheduling is easy to do and the response time is quick. The referral was placed on a Thursday, the scheduler called us on Friday and the the caregiver started on Saturday. There are caregivers available 7 days a week. Sheena is a fabulous care giver. Very patient with my Mom. I am at ease knowing she is there to check on my Mom. Stephanie did a great job getting our care plan set up and Siera is great coordinating our schedule. Overall a very pleasant and professional experience! I would highly recommend.
