Have a pair of glasses from Visionworks. Bumped a door and needed them adjusted. The guy with the very inappropriate laugh was there and I dreaded having to ask him anything because the last time I was there he was laughing inappropriately for nothing--at that time I just wanted my backup glasses adjusted (came from VW as well). In May 2025 my Kaiser eye doctor told me to get prescription sunglasses right away. In succeeding months I could not find an affordable, quality option. And then on August 18 I found Visionworks, a professional eye care provider recommended by VSP insurance. I got to this business at 5:30 pm to get help with my glasses, and they were completely closed. No one was even in the building. There is a sign that states "Walk-ins welcome." Unfortunately, they were not open until 6:30 pm as posted online and as posted on their door. I recommend calling beforehand, so this doesn't happen to you, wasting time driving there. Hopefully, there was a good reason for closing early.
Everyone there was incredibly helpful and kind. I was so impressed that I brought my son a couple of days later who is usually very apprehensive about eye exams but they made him feel relaxed and comfortable throughout.
I called for basic information and was met with one of the rudest staff members I’ve ever spoken to. Completely unhelpful and talked to me like I was a nuisance for even asking questions. They used confusing, vague wording around pricing and refused to give straight answers. Everything felt intentionally unclear—like they didn’t want me to know the real costs. If this is how they treat people over the phone, I can only imagine how bad it is in person. Not worth your time.
