What started as a simple attempt to get my feet wet has grown into one of the central pillars of my life, thanks to the incredible community at Vision Quest and the Velocity platform. As I work toward completing an Ironman, I can honestly say that this special place and its dedicated people have been transformational for me. The in-person classes in Highland Park, led by Bill, were motivating and structured before I moved on to the virtual Velocity platform. My coach, Kate, has been instrumental in my development as an endur... read more

My local bike shop referred me to Vision Quest Coaching back in 2010 and I’ve never looked back. VQ taught me how to ride and race a bike and prepared me for some of the hardest amateur cycling events in the world (for example, Haute Route). Along the way, I cultivated many friendships through shared suffering, including some of my closest friends. VQ = Community. I have worked with Vision Quest off and on for over 20 years. I have gained a huge wealth of knowledge and have especially enjoyed the time I have spent working with VQ coaches and athletes. They have a great group of coaches and an incredible on line virtual platform (Velocity). Robbie Ventura, The father of Vision Quest, is amazing. His motivation and excitement about cycling is truly infectious.

Great place to train. Highly recommend not only the live and virtual workouts, but also the cycling camps. I've moved out of the Chicagoland area, but will stay on the virtual platform and hit at least one camp a year until I'm too old to bike. First class all the way.

Vision Quest is awesome. The variety of rides and platform are top notch - and the instructors are all great. Never a dull workout, which is key when doing 3 or 4 rides every week. And responsiveness from the coaches on any topics is immediate - whether coaching, technique or similar questions or just admin stuff, personal attention and quick responses from experts is unique to vision quest. Should be no doubt to sign up for VQ if you are looking to train for bike races or triathlons, or even if you just want to improve your... read more
