One star is ONLY for Dr. Nicholson. He is a very good optometrist and very friendly. Everything else is a shit show. I got my contact lenses more than a month after I ordered them after the staff repeatedly told me that they usually take about a week and they will "probably be here tomorrow." Also staff is arrogant and rude. Never going back.
Yes, they do have nice frames, but its not worth the extremely poor customer service you get! I bought a pair of glasses and even though they told me it would take a week, it ended up taking a month to get them. I called repeatedly to get the status and they never returned my calls. Then - after I got my glasses (progressive lenses), I was having difficulty seeing the computer. I put up with this for several months until I started having headaches. We Received Good Service & a Great Pair of Glasses – I took my husband to Dr. Nicholson at Vision One for an eye exam and new glasses. We received good service and found a pair of glasses my husband adores. My husband is very picky and we have spent tons of money on designer frames and such over the years just to find something that he liked. I found the most amazing glasses at this place. The doctor was really nice and I was in and out pretty quick, well, once I made up my mind on the glasses I wanted. They have so many cool frames it took me a minute to make up my mind but I LOVE the ones I chose. Not sure what is up with the other reviewers shown here but I had a great experience there. Easy to find, good service, great selection, even free parking (and in Pasadena that means a lot!).

I'd rather go to the DMV – If you thought the DMV was bad, think again. This was by far the lousiest customer service experience I have ever had. If you want a bunch of inept, rude and incompetent staff memebers to serve you-- I urge you to go to Vision One Optometry. Terrible service – I will never go back to Vision One ever again. After having to arguing with the receptionist about my benefit allowance ( she was telling me it was thirty dollars less ) I was finally able to order my contacts and was told I would be called in 7 to 10 days to pick up. When I got home and spoke to my insurance company and found out I was right about my benefit allowance I called Dr. Nicholson's office and was able to get "office credit" (what BS). This place has the worst customer service.No phone calls back to me in regards to a repair.I wouldnt use them again.I used them to get fitted for contacts and the gal had zero patience with me.
