Do get trapped – The gift that keeps on giving (fees that is). Gym is getting on the older side with need for updated machines/equipment. Many hidden fees which don't seem to benefit the members. Expensive for what you get. Staff/owner are very unresponsive to feedback. I guess I should have been clued in when the only way to sign-up is online with a huge enrollment fee. I just left the gym and am very displeased with the service. There are much better deals in the York area. I would definately look elsewhere if I were you. ... read more

York Fitness Center, York, Maine – Where else can you find a gym in York that offers a staff on floor at all times, personal training, and classes like Aerobics, Spin AND Zumba (with unbelievably fun Honore as its instructor!)? The new owners keep improving the place on a regular basis. Josh and Jeremy are easy to talk to, professional, knowledgeable, and funny - all at the same time. Silly concept – In my opinion, you would like to have a gym where you can interact with the owners, floor staff or whomever for helpfull hints or questions Plus not to mention, your going to spend an arm an a leg to get yourself a membership
