I was referred to Dr Vishnu Pulipati, MD. She was amazing! She explained everything to me and made sure I understood. She made me feel secure in her treating me. I would recommend her to my family and friends!!
Dr P as I refer to her is my endocrinologist.. She makes you feel as though you’re her only patient even while knowing you are one of many.. She takes time to listen and answers all questions. Reviews every test and ensures you understand the results and makes sure you have the best plan that works for you. Terrible bedside manner. I show up 10 minutes early to appointment and 5 minutes late from requested check in time.. I’ve already done echeckin and paid my co-pay. Her secretary forgets to check me in so they leave me waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes. The first thing she says to me, “I like to spend ample time with my patients. I have been a diabetic (Type 1) for almost 40 years and hadn’t been able to get my A1C below 7.0. With Dr. Pulipati’s help and guidance, I am now consistently around 6.7. From the first appointment, she had a plan to lower my blood glucose and stabilize it. Over the past two years she has implemented that plan by giving me a couple of things to work on after every appointment. Dr. Pulipati gets a 5 star rating from me. She gives me her full attention during our visit. She reviews my lab results, my insulin pump information and ask questions. She adjusts and makes suggestions according to the information in front of her and with respect and attention to my preferences. She is deeply knowledgable about diabetes and her knowledge is reflected in my results, 6.5 A1C after 45 years of confusion:). 5 Stars on all levels, no question about it.
