I went in hoping my shoulder pain was a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle; instead it was a full rotator cuff tear requiring surgery. I'm in week six of an estimated eighteen weeks of recovery. Dr. Mehta and his staff have kept up with my care despite a viral pandemic, and followed up regularly with me on my physical therapy. "Bedside" manner is matter-of-fact, attentive, and kind.
I thought I would be in pain for the rest of my life but thanks to dr. Mehta both of my shoulders are pain free and I can praise the Lord amen
Dr. Mehta’s evaluation was very thorough and professional. Bedside manner was presented so patient could understand. Options were suggested for procedure to remedy issue. Problem resolved!
My daughter has been working with Dr. Mehta for years and also had knee surgery with him. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and caring. Everyone at Fox valley ortho is wonderful. It’s been a long journey but I’m glad he is the one caring for my daughter through out this process.

I had a serious rotator cuff issue, and being 69, was concerned about the quality of life I would have and the ability to physically participate in bicycling, metal.sculpture and keeping engaged with grandchildren. Dr. Mehda was very reassuring and the surgery was very smooth, I had very little pain and therapy has gone very well. Dr. Mehda closely monitored my post-surgical progress and the physical therapists are pleased with the way my body has tolerated the work. I'm having the other one done soon by Dr. Mehda.
Dr Mehta is so professional and gives each patient his undivided attention, not to mention he’s one of the best in his profession. He also has an amazing staff/team supporting him in the office as well as the surgery center.
