Dinner was so good that we came back for breakfast the next day. Note Vis-a-Vis does not do breakfast, but the restaurant next to them does. This is relevant because they share the kitchen. Check out the Penny Farthing Pub. Your choice breakfast for $11 if you're there before 11. The Croque Madame was delicious. My dinner at Vis-a-Vis was the steak frites, which was done to my liking, and it was a healthy sized steak as well. Excellent restaurants with street side seating that's dog friendly in Oak Bay. We'll be back again.
Terrible food. Nothing is fresh and it was so disgusting. Not worth the price and you’re better off going to Ottavio- a few doors down. This is not authentic and the service was mediocre. Highly do not recommend.
Loved the place, very romantic and charm. Little expensive and no big deal. I asked a vege burger and at the end, it was a big falafel sandwish, at the moment i felt that i wanted to eat plant based hamburger and not a falafel, i hope they fix the menu, saying a falafel sandwish and not a vege burger. still i need to come back and try something else and maybe here i will put one more star.
A really lovely, little neighbourhood restaurant. It's perfectly cozy and intimate and has plenty of charm. A nice selection of tempting cocktails. The food was beautiful and very tasty. Cooked to perfection. Well worth a stop for a nice evening. Friendly servers.
A really nice small restaurant in the heart of a trendy Victoria neighborhood. The menu isn’t very large, but it is creative with some nice surprises. My croque monsieur was excellent. Today the restaurant had its 25th anniversary so their BC house wine was at 2001 price. Their service was friendly and efficient. Recommended with pleasure for lunch and dinner.
