I had a very negative experience with Virtual Properties Realty, specifically with Jamie Mertz. I called them to ask for mentoring for one of their agents Ellen Yi as there was confusion on a house she sold regarding a covenant, easement and other strict regulations. ZERO stars. One word can sumate our experience on both buying and selling...INCOMPETENCE. Our agents inability to accept her ignorance was astounding. Spoke to managing broker, worsened the experience. Misrepresentation, proffered fake resolutions, and the favorite "...agents are not employees...". We got through this despite their INCOMPETENCE and I have empathy for any 1st time buyer. Luckily, we didn't sign the exclusive sellers agreement for this last pending action and walked away.
