Was going to do a trial but never got my computer. Then apparently the trial period passed and they started charging me $69 a month. I called it to their attention and they would not refund my money. SO BEWARE. Tried to call many times with no success.

I wasn't sure what I was getting when I decided to register for the Virtual EMDR Free Trial. But it has been an amazing experience. The website has an excellent User Interface and with so much clarity and detail on every step. The detail includes short videos that explain each step of the process. For anyone who just uses YouTube videos for EMDR, you get a lot more from VirtualEMDR. Unremarkable interface, super overpriced. Listen, y'all, you can most likely get 2+ sessions a month with an intern therapist for less than what Virtual EMDR charges monthly, no insurance or anything required. And if you want to toy around with self-guided EMDR options like I did, Virtual EMDR is one of the most expensive options out there for it. The protocol (i.e. the guided process. I have used EMDR in the past with varying results. I think this website would be best for someone who has had some previous experience with EMDR. **Note: Be careful about the subscription renewal. They do not currently send out pre-renewal notifications and will not refund your money even if you notice the renewal charge and request a refund immediately.**

Worked very well for me. Noticed relief after one 30 minute session. I have done EMDR for many years, off & on, and so am already very familiar with the process. This website might be best for those who are already familiar with EMDR. And all things being equal I'd prefer to do it in person with a therapist. But I'm impressed. This is a budget-friendly and easily accessible alternative that appears to be effective.
