I had a minor medical emergency on Christmas Eve. The surgeon on call called me about 5 pm. She spoke with me about 20 minutes, put in orders for 2 prescriptions, and made sure all my questions were answered. I'm a breast cancer survivor with some additional health issues recently, and this type of follow up was so greatly appreciated! I'm always well taken care of at VM and this just reinforces this for me. I highly recommend VM for any and all health services!

My mother regrets stepping foot in Virginia Mason .. misdiagnosis from the beginning .. she walked in at 185 lbs . Had unnecessary surgery .. died with a feeding tube.. weighed 83 lbs when she passed.. Steve Bayles took her thyroid out over gerd.. pretty sickening .. drs were appalled as what happened to her 🍽.. they apologized to the family for the poor treatment she received .. pretty sickening ..

This is top notch hospital and medical center! I absolutely love VM. You have amazing staff that have always gone above and beyond for your patients. I have been to your Endocrinology Dept, Cardiology, Cardio Thoracic Surgery, and now will be going to your Neurology Dept. I have never once had even a single bad day there. I recommend you to everyone. Even though I live in Bellingham it is worth the drive to Seattle to receive such amazing care. You have no idea what it means to me. Great place unless you NEED to see a provider....then, good luck. 6 months to see a dermatologist, no worries, hope it's not skin cancer. No ob cancer surgeon on staff so had to go to another hospital. And mental health parity...Not here...completely doing away with ANY psych med staff. Won't fill prescriptions because you need an appointment. okay. next appointment is 3 months out. wow. okay. week before appointment. sorry, doctor leaving AGAIN. oops. It will be another 3 months. 2 years and waiting for the shingles vaccine... read more
