About this business

The crowd here changes with the hours of the day. During daylight hours you are likely to rub elbows with reporters from the Seattle Times and Post-Intelligencer. When darkness falls, expect to find them replaced by a chic set of 20-somethings who gravitate here for the wood-lined walls, and for the micro brews and ciders. The pub food menu is fairly limited, but it's better than what you might expect for a place that primarily slings drinks. On warm summer days, ask to sit in the fenced-in outdoor eating space in front of t... read more

The waiter was great. Knowledgeable about the wine list. Great service!

We love the historic corner table at the Virginia Inn featured in the movie “Singles” circa 1992!

I have Celiac Disease, this place had amazing gluten free calamari and gf beer battered fish with fries!!! They never put anything but gf food in their deep fryer, for those that absolutely never eat gluten this is a big deal! Everything we ordered was delicious and all staff were very attentive without being annoying (if you know what I mean). 5 minutes into eating my son asked about 20 times if we could eat all of our meals here during our visit.

Just stopped in for a beer. Bartender was very nice and started a convo with us even though we have never been there before. The glass of water is a nice bonus after walking up the steep hill
