I have Celiac Disease, this place had amazing gluten free calamari and gf beer battered fish with fries!!! They never put anything but gf food in their deep fryer, for those that absolutely never eat gluten this is a big deal! Everything we ordered was delicious and all staff were very attentive without being annoying (if you know what I mean). 5 minutes into eating my son asked about 20 times if we could eat all of our meals here during our visit.
Just stopped in for a beer. Bartender was very nice and started a convo with us even though we have never been there before. The glass of water is a nice bonus after walking up the steep hill
Quiet ambience while you watch busy 1st Street. Enjoyed our talk with the man who served us as well as the shopping recommendations for food in Seattle. The food was fine and the price on point. We shared three small plates: cheese, charcuterie, & scampi. So our experience with the chef is limited but the scampi was fine.
