Very bad service, bad doctors and nurses.
Ridiculous wait times risking further infection while in the waiting area. I've had gone to this urgent care a number of times and received care within 30-minutes of arrival, but today my experience included an endless wait (~2 hrs) with other angry patients and another throwing up in the waiting area. There was one NP on staff and two registered nurses who were exhausted with the patient caseload however they stayed calm and had good bedside manner. VHC used to offer 24 Hour care. Now with new you don't know when they are open. They advertise 8 AM to 8 PM but that is not true. I arrived before 8 PM and they said they were closed. Today I arrived at 8 AM and doctors don't show up until 9 AM. I have been waiting an hour and nothing. This is very disappointing.
Great experience here today. Very short wait...this was at 8am on a Saturday morning. Pleasant waiting area and friendly, efficient staff. Previous to our urgent care experience my son was cared for at the hospital here with a very serious emergency surgery. Our experience there and the continuing care he still receives couldn’t be better. Thank you to all the Virginia Hospital Center staff!
