My L&D nurse Brittany was an absolute angel, but without getting into the personal details of our experience in a public forum, the positive things I have to say about giving birth at VHC end with that. I was originally going to give birth at Inova but switched providers halfway through my pregnancy so my child could be born closer to our home at VHC. It was about three in the morning when I got there, and I was surprised at how kind everyone was given the time. I was monitored for a bit and then admitted into a nice large room. I was asked when I wanted the epidural and as soon as I requested it, they got things in motion and I was given it shortly. Everything... read more
