The care on the day of my delivery was excellent, from the nurses to the doctor. For me, it is the best hospital. My entire pregnancy was attended to by the VHC nurses and doctors. I had no complications and I had a natural birth. My baby was very well cared for when he was born. He pooped inside. They checked him every 4 hours. I am super happy with that team.🙏🏻🌸🫶🏻💎❤️
I had a great experience delivering at VHC. I had a c section due to a breech baby after trying an ECV on a baby that did not want to turn. My water spontaneously broke before the scheduled c section, and within 3 hours of being admitted in the night my baby was born healthy and was put on my chest in the OR and skin to skin shortly after in recovery as I had hoped for. My L&D nurse Brittany was an absolute angel, but without getting into the personal details of our experience in a public forum, the positive things I have to say about giving birth at VHC end with that. I received atrocious care here with the delivery of my son 2 years ago. They kept me in Triage laboring unaided for 2.5 hours while I begged for medication, even though I arrived with my contractions less than one minute apart. My son finally came naturally with no medical attention except a nurse to catch him, all in Triage; I never saw a delivery room, even after 2.5 hours.
