I had a bad toothache and a friend recommended me to Inova Dental Clinic. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly and kind staff. Dental assistant Nafisa was the first person I interacted with and she was very attentive to both my comfort and the procedures. Luckily I’m not a nervous dental patient, but it was so relieving to have someone who consistently checked my comfort and kept me informed with all the steps we took. Dr. Mahnaz Jafari is truly one of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about her and her entire staff. After going a long time without dental insurance, I was honestly nervous about going back to the dentist and wasn’t sure what to expect. Seems like a really great place so far. Super friendly and nonjudgemental. Makes you feel like family! Regardless, I do think they do preventative care and try and catch things early for you, which I really appreciate and will save you in the long run. The “deep cleaning” took like 10 minutes, but maybe that’s all I needed? Or maybe it was a misunderstanding. But I will be back! Good communication with what insurance covers etc.
Unprofessional, Disrespectful, and Rushed Service I had an extremely terrible experience at Inova Dental Clinic today. First, a staff member/nurse named Nafisa displayed utterly unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. While the doctor was working and moving around during my treatment, Nafisa kept coming up right in front of me, repeatedly confronting me and trying to pick a fight.
