I am not sure what ia the true appointment time is for my family member. As we were given a time, they called him soon after check in for routine tests (eye chart, etc) and then we proceed to sit for about an hour now. Arrived 1 hour and 45 min ago at this point. This is really bad and patients should be given this expectation ahead of time. Every. Single.time.
I saw the on call Dr. Krawitz at this Huguenot location. This was an emergency visit because I noticed my eyes were getting worse. I usually see Dr. Khan but my surgery had been delayed until after pregnancy. When the Dr. came in after my initial work up he said in an awful tone "I'm sorry I'm just gonna have to be the bearer of bad news you're going blind" Ofcourse that's news no one wants to hear but after rudely and abruptly giving me this news he then proceeded to tell me I shouldn't "blow off" Dr. Khan because he's the ... read more
Referred here after an accident that left my vision blurry. First time ever at an eye doctor and the experience was pretty frustrating. Long wait times, no explanation of what tests were actually being done, and when I finally got to see the doctor he was obviously trying to rush through. I never thought “I guess I can take a look” would be the doctor’s method of treatment after 2+ hours of waiting but I get the sense that this is more of a machine than a personalized experience.
Be cautious with their billing practices. I was quoted one price for cataract surgery, but was ultimately charged nearly 50% more. When I followed up to understand the discrepancy, my concerns were ignored—and the account was suddenly sent to collections. Even after I submitted clear proof of payment to their billing department, they never addressed the issue or explained why my payments weren’t properly applied.
