What an awesome experience to see one of the highest rated super glow bio bays in the world! It doesn't photograph or video well, so you have to see it in-person. Bryan at Virgin Kayak is so passionate about the history of St. Croix and the preservation of the bay, he makes an outstanding and knowledgable guide.
Really fun and informative. Best option because the kayaks are pedaled rather than paddles. It was way easier and left your hands free for the jellies and bio whatever they are called!
This tour is great. Awesome boats, knowledge guides and a great sight to see. I would highly recommend it.
What an amazing adventure! I never thought I'd get the opportunity to experience this wonderful gift of mother nature.... bioluminescence. But, with Bryan's passion and guidance, my wife and I were paddling a kayak through a bay in the dark of the evening watching the water glow as we paddled along or dipped our hands in the water. Super exciting to see fish glow as they swim by! It was truly awesome! I so strongly recommend it to anyone that has this opportunity, take full advantage of this special experience!
Our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 8-12 yrs old) had a wonderful kayak tour on Saturday evening. Thanks to Bryan and Johnny for guiding us out there and showing us the amazing wonders of Salt River Bay! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Jill was also very patient with us as we had a hard time finding it :) It was our first time to STX but won't be our last...and when we come to STX again, we will definitely head out on a Virgin Kayak Tour!
