My 3 kids and myself got excellent results with Dr Violet. Very detail oriented and looks to give you perfect results. Yes, Dr Violet may not be suitable for everyone, specially if you do not care to brush you teeth regularly and keep your appointments- cause she will tell you what harms your teeth.

I had three children in treatment at this office. If you want a stressful, difficult and anxiety filled number of years while your children are in orthodontic treatment, go here. Moving my children out of the office was absolutely necessary. My middle child was paid in full for phase 1 and 2, and I transferred anyway, basically starting over phase 2 at my expense. That is how difficult and stressful this experience has been. I would not recommend Dr. Violet Barbosa to anyone.

Has no respect or dignity for herself based on her actions and attitude towards patients. Treats patients as money makers more than guests.

Very rude and disrespectful. One of the most unprofessional places you can go. Didn’t let parents in the back and kept the door between parents and children locked. My parents refused my medical care and said to send me out front but instead she went back behind the locked door. Lied to me about the situation and continued to work on me. She was very condescending and rude towards me and whoever took me to my appointments. Anyone that doesn’t automatically agree or comply with her ways gets treated like scum... Dr. Barbosa leaves a lot to be desired. Her bedside manner is non-existent. At every appointment that we have had with her for orthodontics, she does not review the chart ahead of time. Can not wait until we can switch offices.

I want to leave 0 stars. In our time using her, Dr. Violet spoke to all patients and parents as if they are ignorant children. She is abrupt, bossy, rude. Never running on time. Very assumptive as if everyone has her money, time, schedule, etc. Says she understands what it is like to be a working parent then questions why you don't want appointments in the middle of the day. Seems to assume everyone makes an orthodontist's income. Stay away from this woman! Peter is great though.

There are far superior orthodontics offices in Northeast Ohio. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way. Dr. Violet is a bully, she is rude and she is condescending (to both the patients and the parents). After out of pocket payments, this office still billed my insurance and was overpaid for treatments. I would NOT have gotten my money back if I didn't catch this. There is a high staff turnover.
