Having received correspondence relative to recent mammograms, Dr. McIntosh reviewed the films with me and went over in detail what was shown in the films. She thoroughly explained what was seen, what to do next, and completely addressed any concerns that I had. I know that Dr. McIntosh has has a long and successful career helping women with breast cancer issues and I personally know women she has helped who are enjoying long success rates. Great surgeon, a well as very caring person. Will miss her after she goes on retirement. I hope is not too soon.
Dr. McIntosh is a superlative surgeon, a compassionate human and an exceptionally talented physician. She and her dedicated team made my third battle with BC one which leveled the playing field in a way that inspired confidence throughout a challenging time. Not only did they save my life, but their kindness did not allow discouragement to overtake me. There is no sufficient thanks for this A team. When doing battle with that insidious enemy, hope was always an ally because of her, because of them.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I immediately made an appt. to see Dr. McIntosh. She was my 'date' for NYE that year and hat was 5 years ago. Today I am cancer free thanks to her!

Dr. McIntosh is a wonderful surgeon as well as a warm, compassionate, sincere human being. She is extremely professional and never too busy to answer questions. From the minute I met her, I knew I was in the best hands. She made me feel comfortable and confident in the outcome of my surgery based on my diagnosis. I highly recommend her to anyone requiring surgery for breast cancer.
I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. McIntosh. The most recent one was last August. The other one was over 10 years ago. Thankfully, both times, the results were benign. Each time, she was very professional and kind. She knew I was nervous and took extra time to calm my nerves and explain the procedure. Her staff is very helpful and kind as well. I would definitely recommend her as a caring and competent doctor.
Dr McIntosh has been my Dr, for over 14 years. She is extremely knowledgeable. I feel confident every time that I have an appointment with her that I am in very good hands.
