The construction outside our premium bay view room woke us daily. In my opinion, these rooms should not have been rented out during the construction. And it is beyond comprehension why they would continue during weekends let alone the Firestone Grand Prix event. I doubt I will ever trust either the Marriott or Rennaissance brand again. If the intention was to dilute the brands value, I commend management. They have done a fine job.
Historic location with impeccable service. The staff at all levels goes above and beyond to meet and exceed the needs of their guests. Will definitely return.
First class!!! They spoiled us while we were here for the NTI Conference! Definitely coming back to enjoy The Vinoy! This is a gorgeous hotel and impeccable staff!

Fantastic atmosphere, very historic building in a great downtown St. Pete setting. Service left a LOT to be desired, especially considering a glass of pinot grigio was $12. We didn't stay for food, due to servers attitude. The fact that they were not at all busy was perplexing as to why things were definitely 'off the track' when it came to service.
