Went for cataract surgery and he upsold me on premium lenses for $5,000. Before surgery I only needed glasses for reading and had near perfect vision for distance. He neglected to tell me I would suffer from significant contrast loss and halos. All of which is listed on the Alcon surgeons website. I now require glasses to see clearly at distance and due to contrast loss have extreme difficulty indoors recognizing faces and reading overhead signs and grocery stores etc. I also have significant halos both the day and night! Awful experience. Too many patients waiting, like a turnstyle operation. His staff actually 'coached' me through an eye 'field test' for my insurance company. When I was finally scheduled for my eyelid surgery, he did a pre-surgery procedure called YAG Laser which costs $500 out of pocket. It has affected my left eye. At subsequent appt, Dr Vinod Jindal had switched me to his young son to do my eyelid surgery. This was the last straw. I wrote Dr Jindal asking for a meeting because I had questions. He never responded. Lost co... read more

At subsequent appt Dr Vinod Jindal had switched me to his young son Dr Jindal to do my eyelid surgery! This was the last straw. I wrote him asking for a mtg. He never responded.

Dr. Jindal is caring and knowledgeable and answers questions when asked, but doesn't always explain things unasked. His staff is incredibly unprofessional, talking and laughing amongst themselves, and last time I was there 2 hours for a routine eye examination.

I went to Dr. Jindal because I wasn't happy with my other doctor. I am glad that I did! Jr. Jindal and his staff was wonderful.

0 on a scale of 1-5. In the short time I went there, surgery was recommended 3 times on 3 different diagnoses. 2 major diagnoses later proved to be incorrect. How can an opthamologist misdiagnose macular degeneration, which required monthly returns to purchase expensive vitamins? A turnstyle operation with a lot of waiting as well.
