In the last year of WWII, this mom-and-pop restaurant began as a stand that sold French Dip sandwiches and orange juice. As the story goes, one of Grandma's boys was inadvertently eating spaghetti in front of one the customers. The spaghetti wasn't on the menu, however the Cuccia family did not want to refuse a guest so they decided to serve this 'first' customer a bowl and voila!
