Recently having moved from Iowa, I was looking for a trusty new repair shop. Always sucks to lose your mechanic. I needed new pads and rotors on my front axle. After being quoted $850-$900 at Tevis next door, and over $1050 at another shop nearby, I was ready to buy materials and do it myself. I felt like I was crazy for expecting it to be lower.
