Mediocre at Best Vincent's is mediocre at best. Service is good, but the food leaves much to be desired. My son ordered the calamari. When it arrived, it was brimming with grease and soggy. My fish was overdone.
We've been going here for years Vincent's is always dependable for very good seafood. We especially like the lunch special of fried fish, scallops, oysters, and shrimp. Best coleslaw anywhere. They offer stuffed grape leaves upon request. Service is always excellent. For us, this is the most consistently enjoyable seafood restaurant in the Dallas/Plano area.
Great waitstaff! I would say that I like Vincent's for both the convenient location as well as the great service (we went in there twice, about 6 months apart, and the waitperson remembered us from the time before). The food, however, is just ok. I ordered a steak and while it was cooked properly, it wasn't really warm when it was brought out. It seems to cater to an older crowd, or maybe that's just who decides to go there.

A 45-minute delay in opening the doors but then we were quickly seated. Water glasses frequently filled, order quickly taken, cole slaw did not disappoint, unfortunately no crispy toasts , Tilapia a la Vincent's (mine) and Red Snapper a la Vincent's ((Neville's) both delicious. Vincent's has had a 38 year run which is no small feat in the highly competitive restaurant industry.
My husband and I go here for every special occasion. My husband has the oysters Rockefeller I have escargot then he has the lobster and I have the crab. The food is great. This is for a more mature crowd. You don't have drunks or crying babies or people who let their kids run wild. It's quiet peaceful and quality food and service. You get what you pay for. We will continue to go as long as they are there and we are alive.
Love this place!! So many memories here and great food!!
