Doctor is out of shape, smells bad, and isn't helpful. The office is incredibly disorganized. Worst yet, he's a scammer, a year after my visit I had debt collectors coming after me for an "unpaid bill" and I had very good insurance at the time that certainly covered the visit.
Wonderful Family Practice physician who treated my brother like family for 34 years. I went to him after many doctors at Cedars & UCLA couldn’t find out the cause of the restrictive lung disease, and he squeezed my appointment in. He took time to read many reports about me and my sister, actually, and had the courage to diagnose my “family” type condition. Terrible.. don’t go here.. they don’t process bills properly. I have a collection agency chasing me for a bill I paid a year ago.
I have been a long time patient. Dr Sghiatti is a caring and knowledgeable family physician. He listens and doesn’t just throw medications at you. I have family and friends that are patients would not go anywhere else! His staff is efficient and friendly.
No I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. This doctor's office used an out-of-network lab to process test results, and now I am being harassed by the lab to pay for the services. And then I found out that the billing office they used filed the wrong medical claim which caused me to lose on my insurance rewards. I have been contacting them for more than 6 months now and these issue are still not resolved.
The Office staff is fast and amazing! what I love about this place is that its not what you expect walking in but all the staff was helpful and the Doctors here are always ready to listen to me and help me out. I have never had a problem here. you do have to pay for parking but its not all that bad.
Office is severely outdated and dirty. Staff was dreadful. They were hostile, terse, unhelpful. Dr. Sghiatti should seriously consider addressing his front office staff's etiquette. Incorrectly billed $1500 for lab work sent to an out of network lab. Took months to resolve. Really suggest with all of the options out there consider looking for a more compassionate and competent medical office.
