I’m a first time buyer so can’t speak from experience how this is supposed to go but I’m pretty sure the appraiser did not actually go inside my home. The submitted report said there was a balcony and certain kitchen features that simply were not there. Ever. At all. How does that happen? 🤔
I've dealt with dozens of appraisers in my professional career and have never dealt with a more arrogant, thoughtless or careless appraiser than this one. They chose comps in worse locations that were either 600 sqft smaller or 600 sqft larger and made damaging 'adjustments' instead of using similar sized comps in comparable locations.
