He was great and understanding the first few visits. Seemed knowledgeable without my chart infront of him. Had a Laparoscopy due to increased pains during ovulation and menstruation. Found that I has endo. After the surgery I was in more pain than I was going in. Ended up with a partial hysterectomy. 4 months later I'm still in pain. He said 'I'll never tell a woman it's in her head' but wrote in my chart that 'there is nothing wrong with her' without doing testing. Had another provider do more scans and testing. Doctor Corcoran was great when my male presenting partner was in the room. He did my diagnostic lap and was able to confirm a life long suspicion of endometriosis in 2017. However, I didn't see him for a few years then went and saw him in Sept of 2022. During that visit he minimized and dismissed my health concerns and recommended I go on medication that I cannot take, when I told him I couldn't take that medication he told me it was all he had to offer. Besides having a great bedside manner, he performed a hysterectomy and I experienced no pain, swelling or bruising. I am not someone with a high pain threshold, pain is why I had the procedure. I slept off the anesthesia off, took a precautionary dose of Motrin, grabbed an ice pack, and went back to my new and improved life within 2 days...he and his robot are magical. I have had Dr. C as my OB for over a decade and there is good reason! I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with him. He always makes me feel comfortable and actually takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He has researched things that I have asked his opinion on and gives his informed and educated findings to ensure I am pointed in the right direction. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Corcoran just performed my hysterectomy and what an amazing dr. My incisions look amazing and it’s only been 3 days. I am up and walking and doing my normal activities . I would personally recommend him to all my female friends!!
My 1st meeting with Dr. Corcoran, I was an emotional mess, he was so understanding and made me feel that he truly cared and that he was going to make everything okay and I was going to be okay. Being new to the area needed to find a new Gyn. Not an easy task. After reviewing many doctors I decided to see Doct. Corcoran. He turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Warm, caring and a good listeners. Very knowledgeable. Never felt rushed with any of the visits. I felt I was in good hands, he also has a great sense of humor and always a smile on his face. He put me at easy with my medical needs.
