Vimala's serves- hands down- the best food in the Chapel Hill area (and beyond!) Its full of soul, flavor and wonderful ingredients to feed the spirit and makes you feel great! I can't wait to come back time and again to try new dishes, drinks, and introduce all my friends to the restaurant. Between the abundant selection of food and drinks to the great atmosphere and location- there's no where else to go for a great meal and smiling faces!
More than being just a restaurant where you pay money and eat the food then leave. This place has a soul and spirit which oozes out of the lady Vimala and her staff. This is a place with a cause. I will never forget how Vimala came over and prepared something less spicy for my 2.5 year old kid when he was getting bored of the small bites from our food. I really miss this place and the healing effect of the food here. If you are in Chapel Hill just drop by you won't be disappointed. Try the chicken tandoori salad.
