Don't waste your money – I took my husband to Gilt for his birthday, expecting a very special experience after reading the reviews here. It was a nice space, but the food was very expensive and terrible. It was all this very teeny tiny artistic stuff, which can be lots of fun if it tastes good. But this did not. Simply Amazing! – My girlfriend and I were in the city for the weekend and, after looking over numerous restaurants and reading various reviews, we decided to go to Gilt. Best of fine dining – If you haven't dined here you are missing something great. The rooms are exquisite, the service is friendly and very knowledgeable and always treats us like they have been waiting for our return.
