This is one of our favorite “go to” restaurants. Always a pleasant experience.
This has always been one of our dependable faves, until last night. With no reservation we sat at the community table for a quick bite. At 7:30 we ordered drinks, salads and light entrees. Waited more than 30 mins for salads, another hour for mains. They’d obviously forgotten our order, since other tables were served. Service was great. Fresh fried oyster appetizer was fantastic. Our server seemed to be very knowledgeable with our menu selections. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which according to her was one of the best tasting pieces of fish ever to hit her mouth. However, after 5 bites it was gone. I myself ordered the 16oz prime rib medium rare and the cook on it was perfect. I just needed a handsaw to cut it and an extra set of teeth to chew it. I didn't even eat half of it.
