The Tavern is a staple in the South Park Area. Great food every single time.

This has always been one of our dependable faves, until last night. With no reservation we sat at the community table for a quick bite. At 7:30 we ordered drinks, salads and light entrees. Waited more than 30 mins for salads, another hour for mains. They’d obviously forgotten our order, since other tables were served. Asked to see the manager, who walked over without introducing herself, and basically said ‘I’ve comped your food, what else do you want?’ Never saw our waitress a second time until we complained. Top of my list. A touch of elegance and refinement. Proper, but cheerful atmosphere and service. Very clean. The food and desserts are awesome and the wines are heavenly.
