I am so happy I took my son (18 mos) here for his first hair cut. I had attempted to take my son to another salon earlier and it was a disaster because my son was afraid. I was a little nervous to try another place. The staff was so helpful and patient.They helped my little guy get over his initial fear and it was such a wonderful experience. I cannot thank Village Salon enough for their patience and care. I definitely recommend them!
I’m in Troy for a wedding and yesterday I was touring the town square and asked a couple of local people for a salon recommendation that might take walk-ins - Village Salon was the top recommendation. Not only did they take me in with no wait, they treated me like a regular customer! Tracy gave me a fabulous hair treatment for shine and an incredible cut and blow-dry! The salon itself is beautiful and the wash stations were modern and comfortable! I was in and out in under an hour! Just a wonderful experience!

Accepting credit card payments is a cost of doing business in the 21st Century just like rent and the water bill. Charging a surcharge on top of an already high price for credit card usage is ludicrous in this day and age. What next? A surcharge for walking on your rented floor? A surcharge for flushing your water guzzling toilet?
