Extremely disappointed in the experience we endured with Village Realty. The home we rented was filthy and unsafe. Latches to the exterior sliding glass doors were broken, nail protruding from the exterior stairs leading into the home, blinds broken throughout the home, toilet didn’t work, linens from previous visitors left outside the front door, carpet and couch stained and covered in dirt, kitchen utensils, plates, cookware, etc., dispersed sporadically throughout the cabinets making it difficult to find items to cook and... read more
2024 was our first year back to OBX in some time. The experience with Village Reality was very excellent From the reservation, to payment to check-in and check-out processes the services from Village Reality were very positive. I especially appreciated the early check-in option and keyless entry given that we had an infant and small children in our group. Our townhouse flooded before we even arrived and Village Realty thought it was okay for us to still be living in there. Jessica was extremely rude and wouldn't even come to the unit to inspect. Even after sending the pictures we will still told that they would do nothing for us except send us out to dinner. The place was wet, smelled, and half the bedrooms were unusable. Village Realty has been our favorite realtor thus far. The rental we had this year, Barefoot at the Banks, was outstanding. The cleanest/nicest house we have ever rented. No service calls were needed, extremely clean and everything in working order. We would definitely rent this property in the future if the space allows us to. Great realtor - great home!

I booked "" for 9/29-10/3. We arrived around 10pm to a dark house. We went inside and turn the lights on first before unpacking the car. We get to the top level (kitchen) and a cockroach crawls across the floor! I call Village Realty to notify them we were going to a hotel and was told someone would call me in the morning. I rented the Sun Hut Aug 19-26. I went to office and have emailed almost every day. We rented the house thinking there was a hot tub, but when we arrived there was no hot tub. Why was it advertised as such? I haven’t gotten 1 reply to any of the emails I have sent or the call the person in office said I would receive. There was also a stove that didn’t work properly, no lights in pool area, electrical issues, and a few other small things. We have been very fortunate with the wonderful guests who have stayed at our home because I cannot tell anyone has been there other than a few things have been moved.
