I came to Village Medical because my doctor moved over under their umbrella but ever since that transition happened, their handling of patients has been cold, corporate and detached. First of all, they don’t have a phone you can call the office in. Problem with them not sending a prescription in on time? Enjoy the 30 minute call through their call centers abroad to get it sorted. Had two visits, primary care and a follow-up, as well as routine lab work. Incorrect coding by NP for routine labs left me with a huge lab bill and additional charges for each visit. Diagnostic code used was not appropriate nor accurate diagnosis. Was told during my follow-up visit that this would be fixed by the NP who made the error... not only was that never done, that visit still had the same coding issue. I liked the doctor very much. She was great. The problem was that the pharmacy had problems with my prescriptions and it was extremely difficult to get back in touch with you guys. I was told when I called that it could be 48 hours before she got a message so I drove all the way back over into Austin so that I could deliver the message in person. The suppository that she was going to send in never did get sent in. Like I said, I really liked the doctor but this just won't do.
