My sister and I came into this store today and absolutely loved it,the man who runs this store took his time explaining different pieces to us and he was so friendly. I've got a list going for birthday and Christmas presents and can't wait to give one of these beautiful lamps to my mother. What a charming place.
I drove from Waco today to get a new lampshade for a lamp. The lady who helped me was very friendly, and found me a beautiful shade. They have a wide variety of lamps and lighting. Great store, great staff. Family-owned.
So glad to know the Village Lamp Lighter is still in Lorena and doing well. About 30 years ago I brought in a stained glass lamp shade I'd made (Tiffany method) and VLL made the most beautiful table top lamp 'base' for my shade. VLL also worked with my Mom several times turning a large antique vase from China into a lamp and several tall, heavy brass candle sticks from Malaysia into lamps.
This was a spur of the moment stop. First time ever visited and ordered a custom hanging lamp. Fast and friendly service. I'll definitely be going back!
