The site is in a good location, next to shopping centers that provide most everything a traveler would be looking for. If you are a Wyndham rewards member at the Diamond level, they do not appear to acknowledge your status and offer the free Welcome amenity and room upgrades like you would expect. I have asked for room upgrades on my reservation a few times when I know there were rooms available (showed suite availability on the Wyndham app) and they didn't acknowledge my request upon check-in at all. The location, staff, room were excellent! This was my second stay at the Village Inn within a 3 month period. I/We will continue to stay at this facility whenever I/we travel to the Clemmons or Winston-Salem, NC area. I highly recommend this facility! Excellent! Excellent! Very happy customer(s). Thank you!
Stayed in a second floor suite. Rooms were lovely and the event space was really good, clean and well suited to the convention. There is not an elevator so it did create some issues with moving luggage up to our room. Hot breakfast on weekends though coffee and orange juice are not self serve which is awkward and wouldn't recommend the grits or sausage gravy. Weekday breakfast is grab and go at the front desk.
