I really feel that after living at Village in the Park for nearly 7 years that most of the negative posts come from "picky" people! It's an apartment complex! You do hear neighbors at times. I think I live in the quietest buildings in the complex. It's dark after 9pm. Yes, there's been a change of ownership. They are doing so much to improve the complex. Do not move here unless you get third floor. You will hear everything from the people above you and never sleep. Also, if you are not a smoker, you will abhor it here. Look elsewhere to be happy.

Move elsewhere unless you want to smell cigarette and pot smoke ( carcinogens toxic) and never sleep. If you have to move here only get 3rd floor. You will hear your neighbors all day and all night. Shared laundry is not fun. Nosey neighbors. This is not for business professionals.

Listen to the other reviews and live elsewhere. The new management company is horrible, look up their reviews (under 2 stars). The pros outweigh the cons. No one from the company is going to get back to you about your concerns, or listen to your feedback on how to make the place better. The only benefit is the location. However, it is best to pay more to live elsewhere for your overall well being.

I loved living here…apartments are spacious, it’s quiet, you cannot hear your neighbors & maintenance is quick. Only thing is I wish they would’ve put more dog trash cans by every apt complex. There’s only a couple around. Only reason we left was cause rent was getting way to expensive.
