Been here almost 3 years, first year was okay, 2nd year was horrible - they increased the rent the maximum allowance, said it is based on occupancy, we showed the open units and the move in prices they were listed in, instead of cutting a break on the rent they said i could move into a cheaper unit if i wanted to, but there was no guarantees next year increase etc, the laundry machines were always broken, this year they increased the price of the washers and dryers even higher. If you live here (which I highly don’t recommend) MAKE SURE YOU GIVE A 30 DAY NOTICE THAT YOU’RE LEAVING REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU RENEW OR END YOUR LEASE. This information is only mentioned in the lease, they will give NO reminders. My lease ended towards the end of May and I called to ask about extending a month or two at the beginning of that month. From the start, village green employees have been quick to respond, answer questions and have been super helpful as a first timer renter! Special shout out to Jake Orlowski for elaborating on the steps to take before moving in, and answering every question I had! Village green is a beautiful and peaceful environment.
Victor the maintenance supervisor went above and beyond to help us with our hot water issue. He was at our apartment in less than 2 min after our call. It didn’t get resolved as soon as we had liked, however, he made sure we were taken care of and was very informative on the steps that were happening to resolve the issue. 10/10 Thank you VICTOR!!
I recently moved into Village Green, and during my first few days I ran into a couple of small hiccups, mainly with the limited guest parking. I spoke with Candy in the office, and she was incredibly understanding and patient. She let me vent, walked me through a few options for visitor parking when I have friends over, and even took the time to recommend nearby food spots since I’m new to the area.
