The hostesses basically ignored me because I was by myself and wouldn't help me find a seat. Once I found a place to sit on my own my waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious.
We were there during pirate fest. For our group of 10 we had no issues. Hush puppies were awesome this night! Waitress was friendly, took a group pic.
The food and service was great !! We got appetizers and food for 4, $100.00. Great prices for all the food we got. Took some home for later. Luv this place !!

Unbelievably good. Our food was excellent and our waitress (Debbie) was fantastic! You have a new loyal customer.
Stopped in for lunch with family, sat outside on this beautiful afternoon. The hostess was fantastic and friendly...our waitress made it clear from the beginning that she was very busy - so clearly there was not to be any small talk. My sister-in-law ordered her meal with a cup of chowder (which was delivered as she almost finished her meal), small apology from the waitress. Regardless of how busy the place is, it shouldn't be felt to the customers as an inconvenience for wanting a good lunch.
Amazing food, in fact too much food to fit on my plate. Service was excellent.
Despite disliking New England sports teams, I do love New England seafood. Whenever I need to satisfy my hunger for some authentic New England Seafood, I head to the Village Fish Market. My favorite is the New England Clam Chowder, crab cakes and the fried seafood platter with smelts. Never had a seafood platter that offered smelts. Throw in a couple of great owners who really care about their customers and you are in for a great experience.
We had a great meal and a great time, with some good wine.
