We were entertaining friends from the Cape Coral area. They really enjoyed themselves and loved Punta Gorda
Great place, staff was terrific, out door seating, no seagulls bothering us, reasonable price.
Loved the food. Loved our waiter who my sister asked for. Hostess did not sit us at his table. He saw us and moved us which created some tension with the hostess. Was not the first time we have been there and saw their attitude. We all have bad days but might need to remind them to keep it to themselves. Would definitely go back.
The food our party ordered was delicious! We all shared the Fried Calamari with Marinara sauce, there was more than enough for the 3 of us! It was the Best Fried Calamari I EVER TASTED! My Daughter & Myself had salads, they were exquisite!! Grandma had the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed! Our waitress was very good!
This place has been our favorite go to for 15 years. No more. We always get 2 cups of clam chowder & share a Seafood Platter. Barely roll out of the place, we're so full. Now the Seafood Platter is ONE small piece of Haddock, FOUR shrimp, & may be 8 Ipswich clams (of which we pay extra for ) with NO SIDES! This has always had 2 sides. $24.95 is highly overpriced for the above platter. The staff is exceptional ! They have to be with the prices, if they want decent tips. Sadly, our fave is no more. We will not be back.
